SUMMIT, N.J. —  The FDA has approved Tylenol to be combined with naproxen, making it the first OTC to combine two different medications for pain management. On July 24, Kenvue Inc., maker of Tylenol announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved an over-the-counter fixed dose of Tylenol with naproxen for non-prescription pain management. According to Kenvue the “first and only over-the-counter (OTC) fixed dose combination” can provide 12 hours of relief starting 30 minutes after taking the first dose.
